We are expert in UK business taxation, VAT, property tax and stamp duty land tax. As lawyers, we have skill and experience in interpreting the law, and can also produce any drafting necessary to implement our advice.
 
Ann L Humphrey provides tax advice to businesses and tax consultancy to other professionals, either as a regular part of their team or on an ad hoc basis. We think of our expertise as complementary to, rather than in competition with, that of other service providers and are happy to work alongside them.
 
We are practised in handling disputes with the tax authorities, as well as in managing tax litigation, and will always seek to achieve a pragmatic solution.
 
We can offer tailored tax training, particularly in the areas of VAT and SDLT, and can review standard form documents from a tax perspective.
 
We have an informal network of other like-minded niche professionals (based in the UK and elsewhere) who we can bring in as and when required.  In addition, Ann is a consultant to virtual law firm Excello Law. 
 
We provide advice on a pro bono basis to selected charities.
