Case Study: Tax partner for hire (December 2005 to July 2006)

A large law firm for which we had been doing ad hoc tax consultancy, lost both its only tax partner and his assistant in rapid succession. Ann stepped in as acting head of the tax group and managed the tax work-load for six months on a part-time basis. She also helped to recruit a replacement tax partner, taking part in the interview process and assessing the technical competence of the candidates.
